Bio

A highly-touted junior, Dominic Thiem entered the Top 100 for the first time in 2014, and won his first ATP title in Nice, France, the following year.
2016 was a defining year for Thiem. He earned his debut in the Top 10, collecting 4 more trophies and sporting a semifinal appearance at the French Open.
He posted impressive results against Djokovic, Nadal and Federer from 2019-2020, going 9-3 against the Big 3 collectively.
Thiem’s major breakthrough came in 2020, where he prevailed in 5 sets over Alexander Zverev to win his first Grand Slam title at the US Open.
He remained in the Top 5 until a wrist injury in 2021 sidelined him for 9 months. Thiem looks ahead to 2023 with confidence to return to the form that has made him one of the sport’s very best players.
