Lorenzo Claverie, a 21-year-old tennis player, was born in Venezuela and now represents Italy. Standing at 1.97 cm, he is known for his powerful serve and forehand. Inspired by his father, a former professional player and coach, Lorenzo switched from soccer to tennis at the age of ten.
In his junior career, he was a singles quarterfinalist at the 16 and under Orange Bowl and won several titles globally, achieving a career-high Junior ITF ranking of #52. As a professional, he has won the singles title at the San Diego M15 and six doubles titles on the pro circuit.
Lorenzo's goals for the next year include breaking into the top 200 in the ATP rankings, with the ultimate dream of becoming the world number one.
